OUTLET EXECUTIVE

As a an outlet executive, you'll be responsible for dealing with customers, answering queries, selling goods, handling payments and making sure that the goods are attractively displayed. In specialist stores, for example a sports goods or computer store, you may need a level of specialist product knowledge.

At manager level, you'll be responsible for running the outlet, which could be anything from a large supermarket to a small independent shop. It could also be just one section or the entire store.

MAILROOM OFFICER


A mailroom or post room is a room in which incoming and outgoing mail is processed and sorted. Mailrooms are commonly found in schools, offices, apartment buildings, and the generic post office. A person who works in a mailroom is known as a mailroom clerk or mailboy and the head person (sometimes the only person) is called the postmaster. The mailroom is responsible for a company's incoming and outgoing mail. A mailroom clerk prepares outgoing mail and packages prior to their being sent out vial the post office or other carrier.

In a large organization, the mailroom is the central hub of the internal mail system and the interface with external mail. The postmaster manages the department, clerks assist them and mailboys deliver mail for other employees in different departments using a mail cart or atrolley doing regular rounds throughout the day. Sometimes the mailboys will trolley sort using the departmental slots on the trolley to reduce work at the central hub and to speed internal mail.


The Role:
  • Handle incoming mails or other documents including sorting for internal distribution.
  • Collect mail during mail rounds, frank letters, and assist to dispatch outgoing mails timely.
  • Maintain appropriate mailing stationery level and ensure necessary equipments are kept in good order.
  • Follow standard operating and work procedures.
  • Ensure that the mailrooms are operating efficiently and effectively.
